September 28th, 2023 – Seymour, IN – S&S Diesel Motorsport’s Ford 6.7L CP4 to DCR Pump Conversion solution featuring PurePower Technologies’ patented two-piston diesel common rail fuel pump is one of the winners of the 2023 MOTOR Top 20 Awards. The MOTOR Top 20 Awards competition is one of the industry’s longest-running and widely recognized awards programs. Entries were selected using an online voting system and represent some of the past year’s most innovative and exciting new developments from across the automotive industry. Winners will be recognized at MOTOR’s Booth A3023 during AAPEX 2023.

“It is a tremendous honor to have our solution recognized by MOTOR and its readers,” said Stanadyne Managing Director, Americas, Jeff Blake. “The joint engineering team of S&S Diesel Motorsport and PurePower has changed the game by developing this more durable plug-and-play-replacement pump with OE fit and function.”

PurePower Technologies, Stanadyne’s aftermarket and remanufacturing organization, partnered with S&S Diesel Motorsport, a leader in high-performance common-rail diesel injection and vehicle controls, to solve the high-pressure fuel pump problem associated with Ford Super Duty trucks using the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine.

“The S&S Diesel Motorsport Ford 6.7L CP4 to DCR Pump Conversion can save Ford truck owners $10,000 to $15,000 in repairs,” said Blake. “Vehicle and fleet owners can install peace of mind knowing their daily workhorse isn’t going to lay down on them.”

The two-piston DCR pump is based on Stanadyne’s compact and modular design for easy integration, has low hydraulic and acoustical noise, features ultra-fast response times, and is biofuel and low-lubricity fuel compatible. It uses a patented eccentric drive pumping technology with pressure-lubricated cam and bushings for increased performance, efficiency, and benchmark durability. The pump can provide up to 2,200 bar of pressure with fuel delivery of 1,250 mm3 per revolution. It also comes equipped with Stanadyne’s new corrosion-resistant inlet metering valve (IMV) designed to extend DCR fuel pump life. The DCR Pump Conversion is emissions compliant (SEMA #SC-SDM01-0034) and fits 2011-2022 Ford F250-F750 diesel trucks, with plans for 2023 compatibility.
